Céline Barrédy is full professor of finance and family business at School of Management of Metz, University of Lorraine. She is also associate Researcher at the University of Paris Nanterre. Her area of research is the financing and governance of family businesses. She works on the relationship between capital financers and families in family businesses, the choice of legal structures and their impact on the performance and sustainability. She considers the interests and threats of private equity for family businesses. Her work is part of international partnerships with Concordia University in Canada, the University of Perth in Australia, and the University of Vienna in Austria. She is a board member of STEP Europe, through Audencia Business School.
